Your donation means that elderly people and people living with a disability can access extra support, equipment and activities they may not have otherwise been able to afford. The unfortunate truth is that the elderly and people living with a disability often suffer greater instances of poverty. But your donation can help by:
Making funding available to clients who require extra supports due to unforeseen circumstances such as their carer falling ill or who have no funding for specialist and allied health
Keeping a small grants scheme open for clients to access for purchasing equipment or undertaking home maintenance and repairs
Providing access to community activities that usually come at a price such as acting, craft and dance programs, or theatre and concert tickets
Giving hope to those who have few finanical options to access when times are tough
Believe it or not, but giving is proven to be good for you! Here's why:
Plus it helps those in need to live healthier, happier lives.
